Stage 3

  1. Christina, I really like how you kept your learning plan simple and to the point. It is easy to see how you plan on helping your students through each stage so that they will reach the lesson goals. The use of graphic organizers and outlines and slowly going through the writing process will be very effective for all of your students.

  2. Yes, I agree with Anna - this is clear and straight to the point, aligning well with stages 1 and 2 of your previous plan.

  3. One small suggestion: "The plan will be engaging because it is a reflection on their own lives. . ." Will students be reflecting on something they read? If so, mention that. As written it sounds like the lesson plan reflects the lives of the students.

Christina defined the importance of having a detailed Learning Plan that includes specific tools for students to learn the objectives and the teacher to be able to assess their learning during all stages of the lesson. It is a simple but powerful learning Plan.
